A feeling of the ancient abounds: gorgeous solid wood, beautiful substantial metal hardware, centuries old stone, stunning architect, incredible location next to the Cathedral de Santiago de Compostela. All modern amenities (including a spacious bathroom with wonderful shower) yet carefully curated, dignified luxury respectful of its compelling history of providing for the traveler since the 16th century. Incredible breakfast, unforgettable, quite formal dinner (book in advance) with Galician delights in the most spectacular atmosphere of the unrivaled banquet room!

We stayed for 2 nights during our recent visit to Santiago de Compostela. It's a luxurious 5 star hotel in a 500 years old building and our experience was great. The room was spacious, clean and comfortable with a great ambience. The staff were friendly, helpful and responsive. It's location is very strategic, just beside Cathedral Santiago de Compostela and is walking distance to all main attractions. The breakfast is great and the restaurants and cafe are also wonderful. Highly recommended and value for money. Will definitely return here in our next visit.

Fantastic location and a special way to end our Camino. Our room was very comfortable and quiet. We slept very well. The bathroom was lovely with beautiful robes, slippers etc to make our stay comfortable and our rest after the Camino a good one. Breakfast was delicious and there were lots of options, although the yogurt I picked up from the buffet was 5 days past its use by date! This was pointed out to a waiter but no apology given and no alternative provided.

The property is conveniently located, making it easy to explore the area on foot. The room was clean and quiet, providing a comfortable stay. While there was some construction happening in the hotel, which limited access to certain areas, it didn’t significantly impact the experience. Santiago does experience frequent rain, so plan accordingly. Most of the staff were friendly and accommodating, and the breakfast was absolutely delicious.

The location was outstanding, sitting there on the square with the city's cathedral and the grand municipal offices. The room was welcoming although showing small signs of age. Breakfast was a vast choice and guests could have as many choices as the wished. But most of all it was the position in the very centre of things in this amazing city, which was much larger than we's expected.
